Living Shapes utilizes a set of assorted quality materials for their coffee tables inc,luding marble, MDF veneer, glass (tempered), aluminum, and iron (in paint or brass finish). Certain models, e.g., Abedelazar, possess marble tops with fiber basals, others like Hazel Ellis combine MDF veneer with travertine stone for a very aesthetic, yet modern, look. Each of the coffee tables is designed to be visually attractive & the daily use requirement.
The outdoor application of these tables is strictly prohibited. The main reason for this restriction is the nature of the materials - marble, painted iron and veneer - which are all very prone to damage by moisture and UV radiation. Thus, if they were placed outside, their lifespan and appearance would be somewhat compromised.
